I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Why is it that everytime somebody experiments or tries something it's called pretentious? That's the most overused word next to hipster. You get satisfaction because playing punk is easy and gets a few young people pumped and given the right energy it is fun to be around. There's definitely nothing wrong with wanting that fun energy. But when you listen to harcore band one after the other over a certain amount of years, you realize how little it develops. would it really hurt to add a few new effects pedals? In fact, they just put out a new EP a month back or so. I'm filling in on bass when they go back out of the road this summer, though. ah, cool cool. | |||||
