I Am Alive
August 24, 2011, 7:03AM
"More and more details are coming out that I Am Alive is well... alive. A game revealed at E3 2008, I Am Alive had fallen off the map for the last couple of years, until just a few days ago. New trailers and screenshots were leaked onto the internet and were subsequently taken down shortly after.
We are now beginning to feel some aftershocks as the Australian Government website has been updated with new ratings for the game. The game is rated 15+ in Australia, which is a mature rating for them, so we should expect to see the same here in America.
There were reports earlier in the year about the game being released for XBLA and PSN exclusively; a spokesperson from Ubisoft commented on this saying "We have not officially announced anything regarding the launch date or platforms for I AM Alive. We have nothing to announce at this time."
It feels as if the game is getting closer and closer to having a more official statement released. This unique survival FPS game has been in production for a few years now; let us hope that when it does finally come out it shakes up the First Person genre."

"Whatever hole I Am Alive originally fell into, it has managed to crawl back out of. An official press release has gone out stating that I Am Alive is a game and will be coming to Xbox Live and PSN as a downloadable title. What was once intended to be a full retail release, I Am Alive has been off the radar for quite some time. It should be noted that Ubisoft has yet to mention whether or not this title will be making it to the PC. "I Am Alive presents a unique take on the post-apocalyptic, survival genre by creating more complex and emotional situations for the player. Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are the perfect platforms to leverage the mature and challenging experiences of the game.""
