Paranormal Activity
October 9, 2009, 12:13AM

After a young, middle class couple moves into what seems like a typical suburban “starter” tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night.

Especially when they sleep. Or try to.

Paramount Pictures Presents A Blumhouse Production A Film by Oren Peli “Paranormal Activity” starring Katie Featherston, Micah Sloat, Mark Fredrichs, Amber Armstrong and Ashley Palmer. The film was directed, written and edited by Oren Peli. The film was produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli. The executive producer is Steven Schneider. The co-producers are Toni Taylor and Amir Zbeda. This film has been rated R for language.

It's opening in select cities tomorrow but if you want it to open nationwide, then we need 1,000,000 people to demand it.

Agreed.
I saw the trailer last night,
and I had no idea what was going on.
Choppy camera movements, sharp angels, lots of screaming and running.

I like crappy horror movies. What do you think the horror movie code of honor is based on?
Just screaming and blood? No, sir. It's based on choppy camera movements, sharp angles, and lots of screaming and running from naked girls.

Um, I enjoy crappy, cheesy horror movies too. But there's got to be some kind of thought put into it otherwise it's just a crappy collection of crap. Actually I take that back, some thought out movies are horrible.

There's good cheese, and there's bad cheese. This is looking plain awful and pointless.

In my 'cheesey' horror movies, I like:
naked girls, big breasts, gore (buckets of it!), drugs, satan, zombies, torture, sex etc.,

FOR THE RECORD,

I under estimated how freaked out I was until I tried to go to sleep last night.
It's all I could think about. Jesus.

Okay.

I'm going to explain this movie and why it's awesome.

Velocicopter.

That's right.

This movie is about an invisible Velociraptor-Helicopter.

It is also gay. When people wake up, it quickly runs down the stairs.

It leaks some fuel while landing in the living room and sets some shit on fire.

It walks through powder.

Watch the movie with this mindset and you'll see I'm right.

Invisible Velocicopters may be more dangerous than skynet.

My friends watched this yesterday.
Apparently one of them was terrified.
I am yet to find a horror film that can actually scare me.
So I doubt this will.
And because of the way it was filmed I imagine it will piss me the fuck off.
