flies like a dove
in skies above
raining down on me,
in minimal morsel
I get a dose
I can see but I can not touch
the velvet Rose,
I can feel the love
only from afar
a distant beckon,
my wishing star
I tasted blood before
and yearn to drink again
somehow always knew
with you my life I'd spend
but only in the end,
I guess,
my friend,
only in the end
freedom, trust, love and peace
for you for me for all we see
can't begin to decide where we'll be
but I need this phantom love you give to me
and for all the love you send my way
inspire me to fall deeper today
and for you my heart can skip a beat
I anticipate when, again we meet
unbelievable how the time passes
it has been eternity in your absence
alone, despite the souls surounding me
all through out the astral cosmic sea
but even now I feel your soul
swiming alongside my own
....may they never stray too far away
