Background: I was watching a public opinion show this morning, and one of the subjects that came up was Christmas. Apparently, people who are not Christians complain about christmas as it's something that is not part of their religion being shoved in their face... Take the poll: Was there a protest in your area?
Background: yesterday (Nov. 2) all across the country students from middle schools, high schools and universities all across the country staged a walk out and march through their cities to protest the radical Bush regime on the day of the 1 year anniversary of his re-election in what was called the "World Can't Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime" rally. So far there are confirmed reports of protests in 32 cities across America. Did your city hold a protest? Did you march out of your school or work place to show support? Did you even hear anything about it?? |

Background: I was strolling through members and it made me wonder. Does a name make you have a knee jerk reaction? do you get a "feel" about someone or Idea about them due to the name they chose?
Does a name give an insight to the person that chose it? |

Take the poll: is new orleans being ignored by "help" and goverment aid?
Background: being in the UK now I don't get to see the news from the US very often. but tonight I did and was literally in tears watching the new Orleans situation. what is angering me is the fact the tsunami garnered MILLIONS of dollars in help in just two days and people were rescued and fed and housed...why is there no help for the people in new Orleans on the same line?

Background: Ok, allot of bashing of the "bitch posse" and such yet I see the "bitch posse" geting bitched about by those bitching about geting bitched at. so if the "bitch posse" is geting bitched at what does that make those bitching at them? and why should only the "bitch posse" get the heat? should finger pointing stop? |
